Schools celebrate Independence Day on 15th August every year in schools with a program. The life stories and struggles of many freedom fighters like the Bhagat Singh and the others are depicted through a drama. The flag is hoisted and it is a day to pay a mark of respect to our freedom fighters.

But do you think patriotism is alive in the hearts of our younger generation? Do they respect the sacrifices of the brave heroes and martyrs who lost their lives in the wars and attacks post-independence? No, they don’t because they hardly even know their names.

We have brought an Independence Day celebration plan for schools and other educational institutions on the theme - ‘The Forgotten Superheroes of India – Rekindling Patriotism’. The theme is based on life stories and struggles of soldiers/ martyrs who lost their lives in wars such as Indo China War of 1962, Indo Pak War of 1965, Kargil War, 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks etc.

Our school students should know about the sacrifices of these brave men who are truly India’s superheroes.

In this 90-minute program, we have put together the flag hoisting, compere’s speech and the entire cultural program flow, consisting of the drama script having the roles/characters with detailed dialogues and the songs for the dance performances.

The celebration plan is appropriate for the participation of students from KG to Class 12. The distribution of roles in drama, dances and other activities to the students of different grades depends on the sole discretion of the school management. Also, the schools can conduct it for a few grades or all the grades from KG to Class 12.

Each plan has a main document illustrating the flow of the event along with the description of the drama scripts/ performances/ activities in detail and also includes all the necessary resources for the celebration such as Videos, Music files, PPTs etc.

More songs for dance performances are recommended in the document. The schools can add or remove some songs in order to increase or decrease the duration of the program as per their scheduled program timings.
