holistic learning

Plan Details

Father’s Day is a heartfelt celebration dedicated to recognising the invaluable role fathers play in shaping our lives. Celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June, this special day acknowledges the love, sacrifices, strength, and wisdom that fathers and father-figures provide. Across the world, Father’s Day is a time to express gratitude, share memories, and celebrate the guiding lights in our lives who often work silently behind the scenes to support and protect us.

The theme for Father’s Day celebration, “Dad: A Rainbow with Shades of Strength and Love” (Duration: 90 minutes) is a tribute to the many colourful roles a father plays. Just like a rainbow, every father brings with him different shades: Red for strength, Orange for joy, Yellow for energy, Green for wisdom, Blue for calm, Indigo for coolness, and Violet for love. Through a vibrant and engaging program filled with father-child games, fun-filled activities, creating memories, appreciation segments and many more, we aim to honour every dad uniquely and joyfully.

The celebration seeks not just to entertain, but to strengthen the emotional bond between children and their fathers. It provides a platform for expression, connection, and admiration, reminding us that behind every confident child stands a father who has been their silent rainbow of support.

In this program, we have put together the principal’s speech, the compere’s speech and the entire cultural program flow, consisting of various interesting activities. Along with the main manual, all the other required resources are given.

Note - This Father’s Day celebration plan is designed for students from Class 1 to 12. Schools can choose to include all classes or only a few selected ones from Class 1 to 12. Once the classes are decided, all students and their fathers from those classes should be invited to attend the event. Participants for different performances and activities should also be chosen from these selected grades only.

(Please Note: Since Father’s Day falls on a Sunday, the celebration can be conducted on the next day [Monday] or on any one of the days in the week from Monday to Friday.)
