Schools celebrate Christmas every year. It is essential to convey the messages of Lord Jesus Christ to the students, such as love, kindness, empathy and compassion.
We have brought together a Christmas program based on the theme - ‘The Charismatic Christmas – Instilling Love and Compassion’. In addition to learning the significance of the Christmas tree ornaments, the drama also depicts how a person suffers when he is very unkind, inhuman and emotionless. The love for money and not for people around, leads him on the wrong path of life.
The eye opening circumstances makes him choose the right path, where he utilizes the last opportunity to change his ill fate. This is when he chooses to change himself and be a better person. Suddenly, life takes a positive twist; the life which was lonely gets filled with the love of the people around. A lot of happiness and contentment comes with kindness, empathy, compassion and love.
The 90-minute program accommodates 100 to 150 participants. The plan has a main manual illustrating the flow of the event, i.e. compere’s speech with the drama script having the detailed dialogues of the roles/characters and the songs for the dance performances and group recitations. Costumes, background sound clips, music files, stage backdrops, arrangement of stage props and stage/entrance/venue decorations are recommended in the document.
The celebration plan is appropriate for participation of students from Class 1 to 10. The distribution of roles in drama/ dances to the students depends on the sole discretion of the school management. Also, the schools can conduct it for a few grades or all the grades from Class 1 to 10.
The schools can add or remove some songs in order to increase or decrease the duration of the program as per their scheduled program timings.
