World Unity Week Celebration - 21 to 28 June, 2025

Plan Details

World Unity Week is a global event celebrated worldwide in June which embraces the spirit of global harmony. The Sanskrit phrase “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” means “The World is One Family”. It beautifully expresses the vision of universal brotherhood.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has consistently upheld the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - from leading India’s G20 New Delhi Summit 2023 under this theme, extending global aid during the COVID-19 crisis, to launching Operation Sindoor to combat terrorism and promote world peace. His visionary leadership reflects deep-rooted belief in unity, compassion and shared responsibility for a harmonious world.

Inspired by his vision, we proudly adopt the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family” for World Unity Week celebration.

The full week Celebration aims to instill the values of unity, empathy, respect for diversity, and mutual cooperation across families, communities, and nations. Through this weeklong journey, students will learn that though we may belong to different backgrounds, we are all connected as one global family.

Plan Contents (for a full week Celebration):

A) Opening Assembly Plan (25 minutes) (to be conducted on the first day during assembly time)

B) Classwise 5-Day Activities (40 minutes daily) for:

🌟 Nursery to UKG 
🌟 Classes 1 and 2
🌟 Classes 3 to 5 
🌟 Classes 6 to 8 
🌟 Classes 9 to 12 

Daywise 5 Subtopics:

✔️ Unity Begins at Home (Family Unity)
✔️ Unity with Friends (Friendship and Teamwork) 
✔️ Unity in the Neighbourhood and Society 
✔️ Unity in the Nation (National Togetherness) 
✔️ Unity in the World (Global Harmony) 

(Please Note - These five-day activities are to be conducted from 1st to 5th day of the week celebration during any one of the class periods from Nursery to Class 12)

C) Theme Closing Assembly Plan (25 minutes) (to be conducted on the last day during assembly time)
