Plan Details

National Technology Day is celebrated on May 11 every year to appreciate the achievements of scientists and researchers. On May 11, 1998, India successfully test fired the Shakti-I nuclear missile led by aerospace engineer and late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The first indigenous aircraft, Hansa – 3 and final test fire of Trishul missile was also done on the same day. Hence, Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee declared May 11 as National Technology Day.
