Plan Details

The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO) and other such related organizations. To raise awareness towards health issues and concerns, the day is celebrated at schools, colleges and various other government /non-government bodies around the world. 

The Day promotes healthier living habits. The Day provides a good time to turn attention towards making health a priority. Bringing to you a 60-minute ‘Workshop Plan on Inculcating Good Food Habits’, as an initiative towards health care of students.  

The workshop has activities that will provide a deeper understanding about the benefits of healthy food consumption. The students will realize the importance of making healthy food choices over junk food choices.  

The workshop is appropriate for age group: 6 to 10 years, i.e. from Class 1 to 5. The school can decide to conduct it for any one or more grades from Class 1 to 5.  

This plan provides detailed guidelines to the trainer/ teacher who will conduct the workshop. All the necessary resources such as video/ PPT/ display resource/ handouts/ worksheets/ Parents’ Circular etc required to conduct the activities are attached with the plan. The plan is available in soft copy (only).
