Plan Details

A plan for Parent Orientation Program for Nursery is based on the theme - ‘School: A Gateway to Life-long Learning’. A welcome dance will be joyous to start the program with.

Duration of the program: 2.30 hours.

Presentations will show how Nursery class lays the foundation of learning for the kids on the onset of a wonderful school journey and know about the benefits of pre-schooling. Through the program, the parents will get introduced to the teachers.

The program will also cover a presentation on briefing the parents about the school vision, mission and philosophy and explanation on the Nursery curriculum and co-curricular activities, which lay emphasis on math skills, language skills, motor skills and a lot more.

A role play enactment activity by the students based on ‘School: A Gateway to Life-long Learning’ will showcase that a school is much more than just learning through academics.

As rightly said by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - “Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education,” laying the foundation from pre-school and taking it ahead to further years of education, schools focus not just on soaring grades and prestigious degrees, but also produce students with good morals and life skills.

A speech by the Principal will be based on effective parenting tips, safety tips, health and nutrition tips for the children, will make the program all the more fruitful and enlightening.

The plan has a main manual illustrating the flow of the event along with the description of the activities in detail and also includes all the necessary resources for the event such as Invitation Card for Parents, Principal's & Coordinator’s Speech, Display and Decoration ideas, Handouts on Role Play Enactments & Role Play Situation Chits, PPTs, Music Files and lots more.
